Required Education & Experience:
Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school) in Office Technology, Computer Science or related field.
Must have one to two years related experience in an office environment with exposure to community groups.
An equivalent combination of education and experience or training may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
Applicant must have and maintain a valid NC driver's license with an acceptable driving record and proof of insurance.
General Duties & Responsibilities:
~Responsible for planning and coordinating Food Bank programs to include Volunteer/Special Events, Backpack, and Mobile Pantry Programs.
~Collaborates with schools to encourage participation in Back Pack Program and seeks donations.
~Work closely with community partners to build sponsors, coordinate locations, identify product, works with the Operations Department to secure product and schedule distributions.
~Prepares receipts of outgoing orders for Mobile Pantry and Back Packs.
~Verifies sponsor information and quantities in advance. Prepares reports on programs as requested.
~Attends and participates in training opportunities to enhance skill level.
~Be able to type at least 50 words per minute.
~Be proficient in Word and Excel
